If I was offered $1,000 from an independent production company, And a week later be offered $10,000 from James Cameron, I think I would take the deal with James cameron. One of the downsides to having him produce the film is that I wouldn't be my vision exactly because I wouldn't be the one directing it. I would get more money this way along with a famous screenwriter reputation. Maybe I would get more jobs.
